Hospitals

I’m sitting in a hospital today with a relative, waiting for the doctors to come talk to us.

Hospitals are great. Using science, the doctors, nurses and staff try to heal people. It doesn’t always work, but we, as a society, have found that science works better than not doing anything.

Prayer doesn’t do anything. Nothing.

Instead of pleading and scraping to a non-evidenced deity, hospitals are full of people acting in the best interest of their patients by using the only thing that works, and has been proven to work: science.

I love hospitals and I guess most other people do as well. It’s evidenced by all the people who choose science over religion by being rushed to a hospital, as opposed to being rushed to a church.
